Workshop: Tantra as a Path of Service
Out beyond our own motivations to expand pleasure, to seek orgasms, to connect to source at deeper levels, is a place where our own goals dissolve and we are freed to step into greater service. Sometimes we might feel like we have to pick between pleasure and making a difference in the world. We might think that in order to serve others we must sacrifice our own joy. What if Tantra was not at odds with being at service but a path that has contribution at its very core? What if each advancement you experience in Tantra could be dedicated to the conscious shift of planet earth? This class explores how Tantra can be more powerfully utilized as a path of service and what it looks like to find satisfaction in living a life of contribution.
Damien:
Bio: After ten years of collecting his set of bowls Damien recorded his first CD, Liquid Bells, in 2008. The CD was featured nationwide on National Public Radio in a Hearts of Space program and received a testimonial from Deva Premal and others. He is now working on his second CD. It is his belief that the sound of the bowls touches the deepest part of our soul which recognizes these resonances and allows us to relax and commune with spirit and be healed. He has played his bowls at meditations, Bhaktifest, at Chopra retreats, and many other places, including his exciting performances at Tantra-Palooza.
Workshop: Liquid Bells
will be taking us on an Ancient and Modern Tibetan Bowl Journey. Damien Rose is a sonic explorer, healer and vibrational shaman. His work in melding sacred sound with sacred sexuality is unique. Those who have experienced his playing of 20 Tibetan bowls and gong know of the transcendental states that occur. His CD, Liquid Bells, has received praises from chant diva Deva Premal, master yogini Shiva Rea, and recently from Light of Consciousness magazine. He will be performing at Bhakti Fest a month before Tantra-Palooza.
Kirin
Bio: Guru Kirin had her spiritual awakening in 1977 when she sat at the feet of Yogi Bhajan, kundalini yoga master and Mahan Tantric Master of White Tantra Yoga. She was called to take a pilgrimage to India where she visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India. It was in India that she walked in the footsteps of the Saints. She traveled up the Ganges visiting Aholy sites that led to a mountain top in the Himalayas called Hemkut Sahib. It was here she hiked for two days to visit the site where Guru Gobind Singh became enlightened. Guru Govind Singh’s life mission was to protect freedom and stand for the truth.
After returning from India Guru Kirin began studying the ancient yogic teachings of kundalini yoga as taught by Master Yogi Bhajan. She has meditated with the Master at over 100 white Tantra courses, attended summer and winter solstice retreats in New Mexico and Florida. She lived at a yoga ashram in Millis, Ma. where she began her yoga teaching career.
Guru Kirin has shared her sacred knowledge teaching classes, seminars and retreats. She was a seminal person in bringing tantra to San Diego.
Guru Kirin is co-founder of KRIYA, Kundalni Rising International Yoga Academy. KRIYA presents Yogic Trainings including Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainings and Tantra Yoga courses and trainings. She is a relationship coach trained Compassionate Non-violent Communication. She has counseled many people in relationship and intimacy skills.
Guru Kirin is also an Intuitive heart healer. She is able to read the aura and see past lives, karma and samskaras (patterns) that are currently affecting this lifetime. She is a certified lymphologist and by combining technologies Guru Kirin is able to free up energies and support people to move into healing and onto their destiny path.
Workshop: 2011: Sexy Numbers: Mystery or Mastery
Just what is sexy about numbers? What exactly does it mean to truly understand the times we are living in and how we can enjoy this time? In this class we will look at sacred numerology in order to make sense out of nonsense and to bring abstract concepts to life. Once a mystery is decoded then you have the power to move into your own mastery. That is what this time calls forth, to move into the mastery of being a co-creator with the divine. This journey will be shared with art, music and movement.
Mare
Bio: Certified Tantra Educator Mare Simone is a pioneer in the field of exploring Tantra and enlightened sexual loving. Her Tantra profession began in the mid-80s, after a yearlong teacher training and initiation in Tantra Kriya Yoga, with Sunyata Saraswati and Bodhi Avinasha.
Mare is a Certified Sex Surrogate since 1986 during her apprenticeship with Dr. Michael Perry MFCC. She is a featured surrogate in a video with him entitled, “Sexual Secrets, A Surrogates Guide to Great Sex”.
In 1989, she founded Tantra Connections in Los Angeles, to establish a community founded on Tantric skills and principles. During this 5-year period, she had the great fortune to meet, work and study with many of the top Tantra masters in the US.
In ’93, she began an extended apprenticeship and practice with Charles and Caroline Muir. As an advanced CTE through their Source School of Tantra, she continues to co-facilitate at their seminars and works privately with the students there.

Workshop: Healing Sexual Shame As A Spiritual Practice By Asking For What You Want
Have you ever been too ashamed to ask for something you wanted? Can you remember a time in your life when you felt embarrassed or shameful for something that felt good? For many of us, feelings of shame (or trying to avoid them) keep us from asking for and experiencing things that we want, and we feel powerless to change things. The great news is you don’t have to let shame stop you anymore and don’t need to be “shameless” to get what you want in your relationships.
You will learn:
The emotional tools and approaches Reid uses to deal with his own sexual shame
How to “track” your shame and have it lead you to breakthroughs in your relationships
Communication tools and strategies to have you asking for what you want in your love life, the bedroom and beyond!
This is a clothes-on, participation-optional workshop. Group exercises are not mandatory. Voyeurism is participation! And you are free to change your mind at any time. Exercises will include practicing asking for what we want sexually and witnessing it together as a catalyst for accessing our shame and working through it through by revealing it.

Bio: Shawn Roop has been a student and teacher of life wisdom since 1989.
