Michael McClure debuted his rocket science skills with a 5 gallon engine at a tantric retreat in Canyon De Guadalupe, Mexico in March this year. A community contest to name the rocket dubbed it: Quantum Cum! (Pictured below.) He's since launched a semi-successful 30 gallon rocket at Fiesta Island (which nearly blew apart at 40 P.S.I.)
Now he's engineered a 60 gallon vessel and is working with equipment that is calibrated for 3,500 Pounds of pressure. It stands 7 1/2 feet tall, has a pointed nose cone and support technology which holds the rocket engine stable 5 feet off the ground. He plans to propel the rocket with a fuel made of a mysterious liquefied hydrogen-oxygen mixture...
The next launch site is set for Fiesta Island in June. though he doesn't know if it will explode, or fly, he invites anyone who is interested in viewing the launch, to come be a part of the festivities. However, Michael warns: "you may be risking your life to witness a world record in the making!"
