Small bands of people, cults and priestesses throughout history have guarded sacred wisdom, too powerful for the mainstream. The most secret of these teachings involve the magical power of sexuality. A mainstream movie recently swept the best seller lists because of it’s willingness to expose and explain “the secret” of manifestation. Though masterfully marketed, the wisdom in this movie is nothing new. Nor does it reveal the most guarded of these secrets.
Modern day success leaders such as Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Abraham-Hicks all agree that desire and intense emotion are like the fuel that drives people towards their goals. They teach that you can achieve anything if you learn to direct their creative life force. What these gurus don’t talk about, however, is the inextricable connection between manifestation and your kundalini.
Kundalini is sexual energy. Yogi's, saints and sages throughout history revere lady kundalini as the ultimate life force energy. Sexual energy is the source of all that is manifest. She is often referred to as the sleeping serpent that is coiled 3 and a quarter times around the base of your spine.
My personal experience in tantra has lead me to believe that raising the kundalini is the most powerful and direct route towards manifestation. My partner and I’ve learned to direct our desire and emotion through kundalini raising exercises to manifest travel, health, other relationships, our home and spiritual evolution. We’ve discovered the secret beyond the secret: Sex Magic.
Simply stated, sex Magic is a spiritual practice that uses sexual desire or orgasmic energy to achieve tangible effects in the physical world. There is an important distinction between sex magic and traditional tantra. Sex Magic is considered scandalous not only in our western puritanical society, but controversial in Hindu tantra and Tibetan Buddhism as well. Practicioners are often criticized for using their life force (kundalini) for material gain. Whereas in Tantra, the purpose of sacred sexual ritual is enlightenment. In Vajrayana tantra, for example, sexual energy is preserved only for spiritual advancement and uniting with the deities. Sex magic is similar to Tantra in it’s use of Visualization, concentration, symbols & Mantras for prayer and transformation.
As a teacher of sex magic, I’m compelled to caution practitioners to be careful of what they ask for. Make sure that you really want something as opposed to intending for something that sounds good, or something that someone else wants for you. This practice produces results. Many warn against mis-use or black magic. Sex Magic works best when directed towards objects that are in the highest good of all. In fact, many find it helpful to speak a clear intention to “do no harm.” Or to add the incantation “in alignment with divine will.” When working with clients, I’ll often ask them a series of questions to insure that their goals are consistent with other life goals and their larger world view.
Once it is established that someone is ready for the teachings, then we taylor make a sex magic ritual that is most appropriate for the spiritual seeker. There are diaries, cults and covens that have documented their procedures and practices. Variances are vast depending on intention, participants and context. (I’ve listed a number of these references on my website.)
After years of experimentation, and several dialogs with spirit, my beloved and I have distilled the most powerful instructions to the following simple list of steps which I’ve listed below.
1. Invite a partner (or your self) to participate in a sex ritual by putting it on your calendar. Pre-planning this event will set synchronicity into motion. (This practice is equally effective with homoerotic or auto erotic energy.) The intention of the session must always be agreed on, and consensual.
2. Perform an opening invocation asking for guidance and protection. This prayer must have relevance to your personal spirituality. State your intention for the Sex magic ritual.
3. Place an aesthetic symbol of what you want to manifest on your altar. By physically representing your goal with a photograph, drawing, statue or symbol, you are engaging the creative hemisphere of the brain.
4. Use breath and movement to activate each chakra, movement from the root upward. This practice varies greatly depending on your comfort, experience and training. Beginning practitioners might use colors and count breaths whereas advanced practitioners may apply specific practices from their initiation. Be true to your intuition and stay open to spontaneous guidance.
5. As orgasmic energy builds, use the breath to draw it up the central channel to the third eye. Hold a single pointed visualization of your goal in your third eye. See yourself in the ideal situation. Play it on the screen of your mind. Visualize a picture as vividly as possible. It can be a still image or short movie animation - make it as detailed as possible using bright sensory details. Use the breath to multiply the orgasmic energy and mix it with the feelings of accomplishment.
6. Offer this vision to the universe by breathing the image up through your crown chakra. Direct your orgasmic energy into the cosmos with your breath.
7. In the afterglow of sex, it is important to hold your lover close for a time (or yourself.) Repeat a verbal affirmation of your goal, adding an incantation such as: “so it is,” “mote it be,” “if it is aligned with divine will,” or “may this or something better manifest In the highest good of all.”
8. You may end the ritual in gratitude to yourself, your teachers, your partner or the powers that be. Gratitude is one of the simplest ways to raise your vibration and reinforce your manifesting power.
In conclusion, I bestow many blessings to those of you who are ready to apply these practices. I pray that your wildest dreams come true. And once you’ve done it a couple times and become masterful at manifesting, I invite you to join me in doing it again, this time, for world peace.
