Ancient Tantric texts ascribe ten aspects to shakti, the feminine phase of cosmic being. The ten aspects are: 1. Kali: mother time 2. Tara: power of creation 3. Sodasi: incarnation of sixteen forms of desire 4. Bhuvanesvari: substantial forces of the material world 5. Bhairavi: multiple forms and beings 6. Chinnamasta: distributor of vital cosmic energy 7. Dhamabati: frustrated desires 8. Bagala: destroyer of negative forces 9. Matangi: power to dominate 10. Kamala: She who worships the divine with her body.

-------------------GODS--------------------- -Anubis (Egyptian) God - Anubis is the Jackal God of the Underworld and God of Dreams. Anubis weights the heart of the dead against the feather of Ma'at. -Apollo (Greek/Roman) God - Apollo is the Sun God who pulls the Sun across the heavenly sky in his golden chariot. Son of Zeus. God of music, light, and truth. -Brahma (Hindu)is the the first god to have been separated from Iswara, the creative aspect of the male. -Cernunnos (Celtic) God - Cernunnos is the God of the Forest and of Nature. -Cerunnos means 'the horned one'. -Cronos (Greek) God was for a while, the ruler of all of the gods and goddesses until his sixth child, Zeus, stabbed him and over threw him. He had swallowed his 5 other children because he was told of his overthrowment early. -Dionysus (Thracian / Greek) God - Dionysus, God of Fertility and Wine, came to be know for passion and the powers of the physical body. He created wine and spread the art of tending grapes. Dionysus has two sides. He can bring joy and devine ecstasy. Or he could make a man go mad. -Ganesh (Hindu) God - Ganesh is the God of Good Fortune. Ganesh has the body of a man and the head of an elephant. He is remover of all obstacles and impediments, who is worshipped invariably by devout Hindus, before starting any venture or offering worship to other gods. -Hades (Greek) God and ruler of the uderworld. He was the brother of Zeus. Even though he ruled the underworld, he was not dead. His wife was Persephone, which who he kidnapped. He had an invisible cap with him all the time. -Hanuman (Hindu) is one of the most popular gods of Hinduism today.Depicted as half monkey, half man, Hanuman is worshipped and admired by children and adults alike for his devotion, strength and courage and for his commitment to the path of righteousness and divine centered life. -Hephaestus (Greek) God - Hephaestus, God of Smithcraft, creator of Zeus's thunderbolts,represents creativity and pride in one's work. Of all the beautiful gods and goddesses, Hephaestus was said to be the only one who was ugly and lame. -Herms (Greek) God -Herms is the playful God of magic and Learning. Messenger of the gods but mainly to Zeus. Hermes wore winged sandels. Of all the gods. Hermes was the best robber of anything. Also known as the father of alchemy. -Loki (Nordic) God - The Nordic God Loki who represents the destructive power of jealousy, is a brilliant, clever, and unpredictable jokester.. -Odin (Nordic) God - Odin God of Magic, Poetry, and War, Chief of the Scandinavian Gods, is said to have set the Sun and Moon into motion. -Oris (Egyptian) God - Oris is the God of the Underworld, ruler over fertility and crops, husband to Isis and father of Anubis. -Pan (Greek) God - Pan is the horned God of Nature and embodies innocent sexuality and procreation. -Shiva (Hindu)is the destroying and evolving aspect of the universe. He is the most powerful, popular and dynamic god of Hinduism with roots definitely outside the pale of Hinduism. -Susanowo (Japanese) God - Susanowo is the God of the Storm, brother to the Goddess Amartersu. -Thoth (Egyptian) God - Thoth is the God of Wisdom and Intelligence. Thoth rulers over Magician and Scribes. Brother to the Goddesses Ma'at and Seshat. -Vishnu (Hindu) is the preserver and maintainer of the worlds. -Zeus (Greek) God - The father of all the Greek Gods, Zeus is the God of Thunder.
-------------------GODDESSES------------------ _Aphrodite (Greek / Eastern Mediterranean) Goddess - Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love and Sexuality. _Artemis (Greek) Goddess - Artemis is the Goddess of hunting, the Moon and Nature. She is a virgin goddess who protects women in labor, small children, and wild animals. Artemis is a twin sibling to Apollo the Sun God and she is also Lesbian. _Athena (Greek / Crete) Goddess - Athena the Goddess of War and Wisdom is a powerful source of protection. Something stange about her is she came out of the head of Zeus. She is very warlike and carries Zeus's aegis and his tunderbolt. _Bastet (Egyptian) Goddess - Bastet is the Egyptian Goddess of Joy and Protector of Women. The daughter of Ra is usually seen in the form of a cat or and human female body with the head of a cat. _Brigid (Celtic) Goddess - Brigid is the Goddess of Poetry, Inspiration, Fire and Healing. --_Cerridwen (Welsh) Goddess - Cerridwen is the Goddess of the Moon and Gain. _Cerridwen possesses the famous cauldron that governs rebirth, inspiration, and wisdom also known as the Cauldron of Rebirth and the Cauldron of Hell. _Diana (Greek) Goddess - Diana is renown for her beauty and compassion. _Durga (Hindu) Goddess - Durga is said to be the first Goddess in the Universe and mother to Kali. _Ereshkigal (Sumerian) Goddess - Ereshkigal is Goddess of the After-Life, Queen of the Dead, and sister to the Goddess Inanna -Freya (Norse) Goddess - Freya being the Goddess of both Love and War escorts the spirits of warriors who died valiantly in war to Asgard. -Hathor (Egyptian) Goddess - Hathor is the Goddess of Joy, Love and Music, as well as the mother of the Sun and ruler of the underworld. -Isis (Egyptian) Goddess - Isis is the most widely worshiped of all the Goddesses. The Goddess Isis is the Queen of heaven and Star of the Sea. Isis gain her immortality and power from Ra the Sun God. -Kali (Hindu) Goddess - Kali the destroyer goddess of Death and Destruction, born of Durga to battle Raktabija the demon-king. -Kuan Yin (Chinese) Goddess - Kaun Yin is the Goddess of Compassion, Mercy and Love. -Lakshmi(Hindu)is the goddess of wealth and consort of Vishnu. Godess of fertility, abundance, and wealth. -Lilith (Biblical) Garden of Eden - Lilith, made by GOD himself, became the Queen of Demons after leaving the Garden of Eden. (Lilith retained her immortality since she had nothing to do with the apple incident.) -Ma'at (Egyptian) Goddess - Ma'at is the Goddess of Cosmic Harmony, Truth, Justice and moral Integrity. In the After Life, Anubis weights the heart and soul of the deceased against Ma'at's ostrich feather. -Morrigan (Celtic / Irish) Goddess - Morrigan, often referred to as The Morrigan, is the Irish Goddess of War. She would sometimes take on the guise of a raven or a hag and is sister of the Goddess Brigid -Namako O Kahai (Hawaiian) Goddess - Namaka O Kahai is the Hawaiian Goddess of the Sea, sister to Pele and seven Hiiakas. -Oya (African) Goddess - Oya is the Goddess of Storms and guardian of the Cemetery and a fierce warrior. -Pele (Hawaiian) Goddess - Pele is known as the Volcano Goddess, with a tremendous temper and a a compassionate heart. -Parvathi (Hindu) is the consort of Shiva. She got the name because she occupies one half (parva) of the universe while the other half is occupied by Shiva in his aspect as Iswara or Purusha. -Rhea (Crete / Greece) Goddess - Rhea is the Mother Goddess, nurturing and teaching the other Gods and Goddess. Rhea's wife to Cronos or Father Time. -Rhiannon (Welsh) Goddess - Rhiannon, Great Queen of the Underworld, is Goddess of Sorrows and Sovereignty. -Saraswathi(Hindu) is the goddess of learning, knowledge, creativity, and beauty she helps the other gods by destroying their foes. -Shakti (Hindu) in Sanskrit means, power or energy. In Hinduism energy belongs to the domain of Prakriti or the female aspect of Creation. Popularly known as the Mother Goddess, Shakti is worshipped in her various manifestations by millions of Hindus. -Uzume (Japanese) Goddess - Uzume, the Goddess of merriment, is said to be the first exotic dancer. -Xochiquetzal (Aztec) Goddess - Xochiquetzal is the ancient Goddess of Flowers, Arts, Love, Marriage and Sexuality who was also worshipped as being the Mother of the World for repopulating it after the great flood.
