This Month's Topic & Guest Speaker: "Intro to Shadow Boxing: Self vs. Story" with David Cates
Our minds tell one story about who we are, what we want, and how we can create our dreams. Deep in our body, hidden in muscles and tissue and memories, lurks a very different karmic story. David and Kamala will guide us through some exercises to explore what it truly means to stop fighting ourselves and start playing with our deepest power. David Cates is now an elder in the sexual healing revolution. From the beginning, David has brought light into many of our darkest sexual shadows. A healer’s healer, he holds space for each of us to discover new depths in our own unique sexual desires and expressions. David is beloved for his warm melting hugs, profound clarity and delightful sense of humor.
What is a Tantra Talk/Poly Potluck?
The heart is designed to love, be loved and then love some more! This group is for people who are willing to explore new spiritual paradigms such as freedom-based relating and sacred sexuality. The core concept of polyamory is being involved in or open to multiple loving relationships, in a context of honesty and negotiation. Our monthly meetings begin with a potluck, then a talk from Kamala Devi or an other experienced Tantra teacher, followed by a group discussion with experiential practices, which help us become more fully expressed in love, sex and spirituality!
You DO NOT have to be polyamorous or tantric to attend because Kamala Devi and other teachers will be offering powerful tools and teachings to help you get more satisfaction out of any relationship or relationships!
We will create a sacred circle to explore: What you really want on these empowering but sometimes tricky paths. We will practice simple tantric exercises for opening the heart. (RSVP because space is limited--love is not!)Topics include: jealousy, multi-partner relationships, free love, polyfidelity, making agreements, poly geometry, bisexuality, radical honesty, dealing with jealousy, tantra, non-violent communication and more!
Be prepared to share whatever is in your heart or listen without judgment! Newcomers always welcome!
Membership or $10 suggested donation required.
Please bring a yummy dish or snack that serves 6 (No alcohol or red meat please.)
